If you live in Victoria, can someone please tell me how we're supposed to pay our rego? I've been trying to pay mine since Friday 5 June, and it's due on 15 June. From what I've been told, a major system upgrade was completed recently, but the system has been experiencing ongoing issues. I went into the office this morning thinking I could pay in person, only to be told their systems were down as well. The staff couldn't tell me when it would be fixed and suggested I come back later and "see how it goes." What really surprised me was when I asked what happens if the system is still down before my rego is due. The response was that the responsibility is still on me. I'm struggling to understand how that can be the case when I've been actively trying to pay for over a week. If the system was working, my rego would already be paid. Has anyone else in Victoria been affected by this? Have you managed to make a payment another way, or received any advice from VicRoads?
